  • 250 gram krenten/rozijnen
  • 1/2 appel
  • 1 zakje gist
  • 500 gram bloem
  • 4 eetlepels basterdsuiker
  • 500 milliliter halfvolle melk
  • 1 ei
  • 1 snufje zout
  • 3 liter zonnebloem olie


  • Laat de rozijnen ten minste 30 minuten wellen in lauw warm water. Giet ze dan af en dep ze met keukenrol droog.
  • Doe de bloem, gist, suiker, melk en ei in een beslag kom. Roer dit tot een mooi glad, plakkerig beslag. Roer op het laatst de rozijnen en de appel erdoor.
  • Zet dan de mengkom met een vochtige theedoek erover voor ongeveer 60 minuten in de oven op 50 graden. Het beslag zou nu helemaal moeten gaan rijzen. Tussendoor mag de theedoek niet van de mengkom.
  • Verhit de olie in de pan tot 190 graden.
  • Haal de mengkom uit de oven en haal de doek eraf. Maak dan met twee lepels of een oliebollentang een bal. Laat deze dan in de olie glijden en bak deze in ongeveer 3-4 minuten gaar. Herhaal dit tot het beslag op is. Doe er niet te veel tegelijk in de pan. Ze moeten de ruimte hebben om aan de bovenkant te kunnen zwemmen. Haal ze uit het vet en laat ze uitdruipen op een laagje keukenrol.
  • Serveer de oliebollen op een mooie schaal en garneer met poedersuiker. Eetsmakelijk!
