  • 500 gram varkenslappen (bij voorkeur hamlappen in blokjes) of kipfilet
  • 4 eetlepels ketjap
  • 1 theelepel sambal
  • 1 theelepel uienpoeder
  • 1 theelepel knoflookpoeder
  • 1 theelepel katoembar
  • 1/2 theelepel djahe
  • 1/2 theelepel djinton
  • 1/2 theelepel laos
  • 1/2 theelepel serehpoeder
  • 1/2 theelepel koenjit
  • 1 theelepel bruine basterdsuiker
  • 3 eetlepels olie


  • Voeg alle ingrediënten in een kom en roer met een vork door elkaar. Laat het vlees minimaal 30 minuten trekken in de marinade. Langer maakt het vlees vaak nog lekkerder. Zorg dan wel dat je het in de koelkast laat trekken.
  • Steek de blokjes aan stokjes.
  • Rooster de saté 7 tot 9 minuten op een rek in het midden van de oven. Keer ze ongeveer iedere 2 minuten. Bij voorkeur kan je ze ook nog een keer bestrijken met marinade. Let erop dat de stokjes wel kunnen lekken. Leg ze daarom bijvoorbeeld op bakpapier of leg een schaal op de bodem van de oven.
  • Combineer de saté bijvoorbeeld met rijst en satésaus of serveer ze tijdens een verjaardag. Je kan er je eigen draai aan geven.
